I want to share my apprice to getting something down and what think helps to write every day.
My youngest was still a baby, and we were waiting for my husband to get home from work so we could go to dinner that night.
That day I think I was just antsy to get out of the house for a little while. So there I sat watching my baby boy crawl all over the living room floor and my mother-in-law sitting in her easy chair crocheting.
As the hours dragged on that day, I finally asked my mother-in-law how she learned to crochet. She told me how she had taught herself and then she offered to teach me.
I wanted to learn how to crochet anyway, but that day in particular, I was anxious for anything that would help pass the time. So she spent all afternoon trying to teach me to crochet.
I look back on those memories and smile now that my mother-in-law passed away a few months ago. And it is with great joy that I get to write this article for you all. For those that desperately want to learn this art, I urge you to. Hopefully, this article will help you to do the same.
